WEBJul 26, 2024 · I did buy a HAUL-MASTER 2000 lb. Capacity A-Frame Trailer Jack from Harbor Freight. My existing wheel did not fit so I also had to buy HAUL-MASTER Trailer Jack Swivel Wheel. I was able to use the three original bolts to install the jack, and everything works great. total cost was about $60!

I gave up replacing them and bought a $9.99 HAUL-MASTER Trailer Jack Landing Plate from Harbor Freight that I slip under the jack post when un-coupling the rig. (I don't use their supplied pin.)

WEBSep 14, 2015 · Before you decide to tow an Airstream with a U-Haul truck, you will need to add a 7-way plug to the bumper section and a brake controller as well. Any U-Haul trailer with brakes had hydraulic surge brakes that did not require a controller. The trucks were wired for lights only, not electric trailer brakes. Lew Farber
