Need help for correct grinder angles for stihl chains
WEBFeb 17, 2007 · The info is usually on the paper insert that comes with packaged STIHL chains. The angles should be the same for any brand of grinder. If the chain is fairly new, you can put it in the grinder and set it up to match the cutter angles. 60 degrees head tilt and 30 degrees vice angle works on a lot of chains. Philbert.

WEBDec 11, 2007 · Peter, Your Stihl 034 saw was produced c. 1982-1985+. I purchased my 034AV with Electronic Quickstop in '85. Came stock with a 20" bar and Stihl Super micro (chisel tooth) chain. Only problem I had with it is the Electronic ignition module failed.

The dealer was Kan Equipment, Marysville Ks. It was not some cobbled up chainsaw. And it was very expensive. 1100 or 1200.00 if memory serves.

The MSA250 is such big money you are very close to an MSA200 with battery and charger in price.

WEBMay 29, 2011 · Brushless, just take a few magnets, 3 wires, some iron, 2 bearings and you're golden. It will work until the bearings die out. And bearings don't die out so easily on electric stuff. Because they're more efficient they can be lighter. There is virtually no market for it tho, that's why nobody is making a 3P chainsaw anymore.

WEBJul 20, 2006 · TDC is exactly half way between these two marks. Take out the stop, put a battery powered electric drill on the flywheel nut and spin it counter-clockwise at 1000rpm. Make sure a plug is connected and grounded to the chassis. Don't put it back in the cylinder for this test as it will be too hard to spin. J.
