WEBJun 14, 2018 — I am in Canada and it will either be $1100 CAD installed at the Dealer or $380 CAD at U-haul Installed. Obviously the dealer install is more clean, flush with the body, etc. However to be honest I don't really tow too much and just wanted it for flexibility in the future but more importantly just so I can use a bike tow hitch.

WEBDec 22, 2011 — Well I just got a U-Haul hitch installed on my highlander 2 days ago. (I had to leave on a trip to Austin, TX with a trailer and realized I would be driving my highlander instead of my normal tow vehicle 2 days before I planned on leaving :facepalm Anyway, I would have ordered from etrailers, but went to U-Haul since they had my hitch in stock at my local location and had no time to order.

WEBNov 8, 2020 — Some videos show issues with that hitch actually being designed for the 19 and require modifications for the 2020. Didn’t want to take a chance with the EBay seller so back to looking for another part number. I’m ok with seeing the hitch tube below the bumper. Turns out U-Haul sells the Curt 13460 for $199.

WEBMay 4, 2016 — The Class III Curt hitch is rated at 5,000 pounds but that is overkill. I had planned to tow an Airstream 16 with a gross weight that pushed 3,500 pounds and I thought the Curt hitch might provide a margin of safety. I decided against the Airstream and if I do buy a travel trailer it will be one with lower gross weight.
Anyone here ever attach a U-Haul trailer to their Corolla?
WEBJul 16, 2019 — Now, regardless of what towing specs say, you're gonna add a LOT of load to car with U-haul due to trailer's own weight. Along with what you're carrying in trailer and car, it will stress it beyond imagination! If you really want to do this, only do it with a manual transmission car. Automatics will fry with added stress.

WEBAug 18, 2013 — The Cequent hitch is very similar to the OEM one in how it mounts and sits on the "frame rails". For clarification, my Curt hitch will say U-Haul on it. I bought it from U-Haul, but it is a Curt Mfg branded hitch.
