There is only one main carpark with not many spaces. The price is 6 lei per hour or 30 lei all day. The walk to the castle from the carpark is about 1km and is pleasant. The castle itself is fantast… Full review by Matthew S

If your nearby and want to see a fairly modern but beautiful castle, then worth a trip. But beware the castle is covered in scaffolding and folia. So photos are not going to be great! Would be better… Full review by johnpM2125SM

I read on the Peles Castle's website that they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which are the days I wished to visit. Can one still walk around the grounds even though they are closed?

Yes, you can! All the surroundings are open to the public and it's a nice walk from downtown Sinaia to the Castle!

Assuming you're making you're own travel arrangements to Peles Castle (which is easy) tickets are 30 lei for ground floor only, or 60 lei for ground and first. Every ticket includes a tour guide, this is the only way you can visit, you cannot wander around by yourself. Tours are in different languages, English is definitely one of them. There are different ques for different languages, English is in the courtyard although check with the ticket seller Also note: Mondays peles is shut, Tuesdays only the ground floor is open. For all tours you need to pay for camera pass if you want to take photos (it's about a fiver)

Hi Is it easy enough to distinguish the two different entrances? Romanian's entrance vs tourist entrance? I might take you up on this suggestion of going to the other line. It sounds like a tour is not necessarily required. Or are the lines for tours in a specific language? With it being so crowded with guides speaking many different languages at the same time, it seems pretty chaotic and like it would be worth just going in solo.
