Hook and Roderick Strong will compete at AEW Dynamite’s Grand Slam episode, with the FTW Championship on the line. After issuing a challenge to Strong this past week on Dynamite, Hook will get his wish.

In a match set in motion several weeks ago, FTW Champion Hook will defend his ceremonial title against Roderick Strong at this month’s AEW Grand Slam from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York. The match was confirmed during Saturday’s AEW Collision after Hook issued the challenge on this past Wednesday’s Dynamite.

Grand Slam is back in New York City. Bryan Danielson is set to defend his AEW world title against Nigel McGuinness and the winner of that match is likely to face the victor between Jon Moxley and Darby Allin.
