The Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football rankings with first-place votes, win-loss record and total poll points heading into Week 4 of the AHSAA season. Others receiving votes: Prattville (4-0) 14, James Clemens (3-0) 12, Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa (2-2) 4, Vestavia Hills (1-3) 2.

High school football games continued throughout the state of Alabama Sep. 5-7 and there was plenty of great action taking place. The No. 1 team in the Yellowhammer State remains Central-Phenix City followed by the Saraland Spartans.
