Tennessee snagged an exciting offensive prospect in the transfer window on Tuesday with the announcement that wide receiver Amari Jefferson is headed to Rocky Top after one year at Alabama.

The Chattanooga resident and former Baylor School two-sport star, who signed with the University of Alabama but entered the transfer portal last Friday, has announced he will transfer to Tennessee. Jefferson did not play for Kalen DeBoer's Crimson Tide this past season, so he will have four years of eligibility with Josh Heupel's Volunteers.

Jefferson has four years of eligibility remaining. He was initially committed to Tennessee for baseball before signing with the Crimson Tide.
