The San Jose Sharks recovered from a slow start to score five unanswered goals and earn a chippy 6-3 win over the Colorado Avalanche on Monday to close out the Rookie Faceoff in El Segundo with a 3-0 record.

Rookie Faceoff is now in the history books. The San Jose Sharks were one of the most interesting teams to watch in the tournament as I discussed prior to the event, and they didn’t disappoint by any means.
