Klay Thompson, J.J. Barea and Steve Nash were some of the notable names at the NBA Hall-of-Famer’s event in North Dallas.

Klay Thompson made one of the biggest moves of the NBA offseason when he left the Golden State Warriors to sign with the Dallas Mavericks. Mavs fans are very excited about the addition, as he is one of the best players in NBA history and is coming to a team that reached the Finals last season.

Without Steve Nash getting traded to Nowitzki, you could argue Nowitzki doesn't recover from a less-than-stellar rookie season.  Dallas Basketball discusses their placement on a particular list to honor their friendship and camaraderie as teammates.

All proceeds from the event benefitted Nowitzki’s foundation which focuses on helping children through programs aimed toward wellbeing, health and education.

NBA legend Dirk Nowitzki had high praise for one of Luka Doncic’s teammates on the Dallas Mavericks. The Dallas Mavericks had an impressive season, with Luka Doncic leading the team to their first NBA Finals appearance since 2011.
