The Wildcats clearly made an impression on him during the recruiting process, because he quickly chose them when he began exploring his options as a transfer.

Alabama freshman linebacker Jayshawn Ross is transferring to Kansas State. Ross was a member of Alabama’s 2024 recruiting class. The native of Kansas City, Missouri played in one game for the Crimson Tide but did not record any stats.

The 6-foot-6 and 320-pound blocker figures to be an important addition for K-State, because he plays an important position. The Wildcats need to add veteran talent to their offensive line after bidding farewell to Hadley Panzer, Carver Willis and Easton Kilty up front.
