Nigeria’s major cities including Abuja, Lagos and Kano have suffered blackouts as the country’s electricity grid has collapsed in the tenth such outage to hit the power system this year.

The Federal Government on Thursday said it is adopting a holistic approach in addressing reoccurring incidents of grid collapse in the power sector. The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu gave the assurance when the investigative committee on frequent incidents of grid collapse submitted its report.
