AEW is set to debut the Maximum Carnage special in January. It will be spread across AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision. The Andrew J Brady Music Center in Cincinnati confirmed that the venue would be hosting AEW’s “Maximum Carnage” set of tapings on January 15-16.

On Monday, December 23, the promotion announced that they will be coming to the Andrew J Brady Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 15 for a live episode of AEW Dynamite. The following day, the promotion will return to the venue to tape an episode of AEW Collision.

Night episode of AEW Dynamite was filmed on Sunday at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York for airing on Wednesday evening. The show featured the final matches of the Continental Classic to determine the final four participants who will meet on Saturday at AEW World's End in the semifinals with the winners meeting on the same night to determine the winner of the tournament being crowned the AEW Continental Champion.
