At least 68 people have fallen ill in the outbreak believed to be linked to cucumbers sold in the United States and Canada, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.

Cucumbers from SunFed Produce have been recalled after tests showed the produce could be linked to a salmonella outbreak in several states.

A cucumber recall is affecting 26 states and five Canadian provinces, according to a warning from the U.S. Food & Drug Administration - and North Carolina is on the list.
