September's full "harvest" moon is also a supermoon, meaning it's slightly bigger and brighter than an average moon. The full moon will be Tuesday night, September 17, 2024, at 10:35 p.m. EDT, NASA reports.

The harvest moon will be a spectacular lunar show in September. Along with a longer viewing period, it'll be a supermoon and partial lunar eclipse.
