A new report reveals that the PlayStation 5 Pro will have a feature that could enhance the visuals of some PlayStation 4 games, but there is a catch.

Sony’s proprietary PSSR upscaler will almost certainly be iterated upon ahead of the next generation, enabling devs to resolve clean image quality with reduced computational overheads.

The PlayStation 5 Pro comes with a new feature that enhances select PS4 games, which could be the next best thing for one long-demanded remaster.

You will need to take a little trip through the menus to get the Enhance Image Quality option up and running for any PS4 games you play on the console. Scroll down to the “Enhance Image Quality for PS4 Games” option and turn it on. You do need a screen that supports 2160p (4K) or 1440p output, so keep that in mind.
