Amazon has started to roll out X-Ray Recaps to Prime Video, to help you remember what happened in the last season of your favourite show.

Ray, its product feature offering on-screen actor credits and production information, to offer viewers recaps of episodes or full seasons of Amazon MGM Studios Original series. The generative AI feature,

X-Ray Recaps builds on Prime Video's existing X-Ray feature, which provides viewers with additional information about the show or movie, like trivia, cast details, soundtrack information, and production insights. You can access the X-Ray feature by pausing whatever you're watching and finding it in the menu at the bottom of the screen.

Now Amazon Prime Video is extending that X-Ray feature a step further by summarizing full episodes or even entire seasons of TV through the push of a button. The company is calling it “X-Ray Recaps,” and it’s available now in Beta version on Amazon MGM Originals and for Fire TV users specifically.

Instead of scouring the internet for a summary of a TV show, which often risks unintentionally revealing major plot points, Prime Video’s latest feature aims to save viewers from encountering any spoilers.
