The Chicago Bears badly need a victory this week before a demanding NFC North stretch begins. The Bears will be treated Sunday with a visit to Soldier Field from the 2-7 New England Patriots, who are in their own state of disarray and coming off a 20-17 overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Bears wide receiver DJ Moore spent some time on Wednesday explaining why he left the field during a play against the Cardinals in last Sunday's loss, but that singular moment hasn't been the biggest issue with Moore's performance this season.

Moore, a seven-year NFL veteran who is coming off a career year in Chicago, has logged one 100-yard performance in 2024 (five receptions for 105 yards, 2 TDs in Week 5). In back-to-back losses at Washington and Arizona, the star receiver totaled six catches for 60 yards when targeted 11 times.
