Hoax bomb threats, many of which appeared to originate from Russian email domains, were directed on Tuesday at polling locations in five battleground states - Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania - as Election Day voting was underway,

Federal law enforcement and swing-state election officials both reported bomb threats to polling stations Tuesday, saying they believed the threats originated in Russia.

Voting in multiple battleground states was disrupted on Tuesday as numerous polling places received death threats, many of which the FBI said it determined had ties to Russia, prolonging polling place hours and raising the specter of election interference.
