ER may have ended, but George Clooney and Julianna Margulies’ friendship will go on forever! While speaking to the Television Academy in honor of the medical drama's 30th anniversary on Monday, Sept.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of ER, the long-running medical drama that premiered on Sept. 19, 1994, and is generally credited with helping launch the careers of its early stars, George Clooney and Julianna Margulies. And it sounds very much as though the two stars still have a bond over their characters to this day.

George Clooney is a known practical joker. The actor is almost as famous for some of his antics as he is for his films. His friends like Brad Pitt and Matt Damon have spoken often about some of the pranks that Clooney has pulled, but the actor recently told a story about pranking Tom Cruise that has to be one of the best we’ve heard.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney have been roasting each other for decades now. In an Access Hollywood interview with Brad and George from 2001, the pair hilariously poke fun at one another while talking about working together on their hit flick "Ocean's Eleven."
