The Atlanta Falcons said goodbye to defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake this week after just one season together. Now, they may have zeroed in on an experienced replacement, with plans to interview former Cincinnati Bengals assistant Lou Anarumo for the same position,

After moving on from Gus Bradley earlier in the week, the Indianapolis Colts will reportedly be interviewing Lou Anarumo for their defensive coordinator opening, according to Tom Pelissero. Anarumo was most recently the Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator from 2019-2024 but was let go following the conclusion of the regular season.

While the Colts also announced they will interview Michigan Wolverines defensive coordinator Wink Martindale, Anarumo is also a fantastic candidate to lead the Colts' stop troops.

Case in point, Anarumo already has his first interview lined up with the Indianapolis Colts for their vacant defensive coordinator position, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

The Cincinnati Bengals and head coach Zac Taylor have started the coaching search in earnest after firing defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo on Monday. But Anarumo doesn’t sound like a guy who will be out of work for long.
