Over 130 homes have been destroyed in a wind-fueled wildfire in Southern California that has grown ... teams were conducting inspections after the Mountain Fire, which is still burning, set homes ablaze in Camarillo Heights and other parts of the county.

FEMA authorized the use of federal funds to help the state battle the Mountain Fire, which has burned about 10,500 acres on Wednesday.

The out-of-control brush fire broke out near the 7900 block of Balcom Canyon Road and Bradley Road at approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. The fire department initially described the incident as a two-alarm fire that burned 250 acres, but it quickly exploded and has since scorched more than 14,000 acres.
