A lawyer for Jay-Z said a “legal ultimatum” to talk show host Piers Morgan was necessary and prompted him to take the unusual step of editing out allegations about the rapper and his wife Beyoncé.

Piers Morgan issued a public apology to powerhouse couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé after singer Jaguar Wright appeared on his show Uncensored to discuss the Sean “Diddy” Combs arrest and indictment for sex trafficking and racketeering.

A guest on the host's show made allegations that the couple's lawyers said were "totally false".

After being connected by the Carters’ attorneys, Piers Morgan issued a public apology to the couple (viewable here courtesy of Pop Base ). However, the apology isn’t in connection with anything Morgan said. But rather what singer Jaguar Wright alleged during her appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

Z’s attorney called out Piers Morgan after the P Diddy comparison his guest made about the superstar couple on his show. Piers Morgan interviewed Jaguar Wright on his show Piers Morgan Uncensored, and Wright made a distasteful comment comparing Beyonce and husband Jay-Z to rapper P Diddy,

Morgan apologized to the couple after a guest on his show made false allegations regarding their connection to Diddy.
