Every Florida county will have a mandatory eight-day early voting period before the election but most counties are opting to start earlier and some will be extending early voting through the Sunday before the election. Many early voting sites also will be open earlier and/or later than they were during early voting for the primary.

According to Florida Division of Elections, the early voting period must start at least on the 10th day before the election and end on the 3rd day before the election. But supervisors have the option to offer more early voting on the 15th, 14th, 13th, 12th, 11th, or 2nd day before an election.
