The district asked voters to approve a 3 mill additional tax levy. A mill is $1 per $1,000 of a property’s assessed value. The levy would have increased property taxes for residents, and have brought in $1.5 million to the district, according to Mt. Healthy CSD.

The Mt. Healthy City School District is asking voters to support a school levy on the ballot that would provide funding for the current operational expenses of the district.

While voters across Ohio will be deciding on the next U.S. president, congressmembers and Issue 1, some communities will also find school levies and local issues on the November ballot.

In Cleveland, voters supported an $8.6 million, 10-year operating levy for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
