Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal plans to step down, with AAP lawmakers set to decide on his replacement. Atishi is a likely successor. Kejriwal had resigned as CM in 2013 too. ;

The opposition leader spent almost six months locked up in relation to alleged irregularities in New Delhi's liquor policy.

Kejriwal has said he would hold a meeting of AAP MLAs in the next couple of days and a party leader would take over as chief minister.
