Molson Coors will lay off 90 employees in Chippewa Falls and Milwaukee as it consolidates production of Leinenkugel beers at the Miller Brewing Co.

Leinenkugel’s, a once-independent brewery based in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, will cease operations at its location used for 157 years and shift production of its line of beverages to Milwaukee in January.

Molson Coors will close its Leinenkugel’s Brewery in Chippewa Falls and the Leinenkugel’s 10th Street Brewery in Milwaukee early next year, according to a statement from the company.
