Tests carried out on the first team player Ferran Torres confirm that he has an injury to the biceps femoris muscle in his right thigh. His return to training will be dependent on his recovery.

Barcelona lost Ferran Torres to injury after just a few minutes of Sunday’s La Liga clash with Alaves at Mendizorrotza Stadium. Ferran was named in the starting XI again by Hansi Flick but picked up an issue and asked to come off after several minutes of the game.

Barcelona are starting to get back most of their first team squad after a wave of injuries, but there is still no end in sight to the physical problems that Hansi Flick’s side have been suffering.
