HealthPartners and UnitedHealthcare said Tuesday they’ve reached a multi-year agreement that will allow some 30,000 subscribers to UHC’s senior Medicare Advantage plans to remain in-network next year,

The Minnetonka-based health insurer says the new contract “ensures continued, uninterrupted network access” to hospitals and clinics at the Bloomington-based health system.

The new agreement comes months after HealthPartners said it would stop accepting some UnitedHealthcare insurance plans in 2025.

If affected, seniors should receive a letter alerting them about the next steps and how to enroll in a new plan.
